The complete list of every cookie and localStorage item we use, what it's for, how long it sticks around.
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about you between visits. They are not programs, do not contain viruses, and cannot access other files on your computer. Modern web apps also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly but are managed entirely client-side.
We use the absolute minimum needed to make the Service work. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics that profile you, or cross-site identifiers. Period.

We self-host Plausible Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint, does not track across sites, and does not collect personal data. Plausible measures only: page views, referrer, screen size class (mobile/tablet/desktop), and country (via Cloudflare's IP geolocation, IP never stored). View our public dashboard at retroplayland.com/stats.
None. We do not run any advertising network cookies or trackers. Ads on the Service (where they appear on free pages) are served by Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies if you have not opted out via your Google account. You can install uBlock Origin if you wish to block them; we will not show anti-adblock messages.
You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings. Helpful guides:
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may break login and other core features.
We respect the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal where applicable, though we do not use any tracking cookies in the first place. Sending DNT does not change our behavior.
If we add any cookies in the future, we will update this list and (where required by law) request your consent before activating non-essential cookies.
