We use canvas fingerprinting + WebGL + audio context + IP /24 range to identify devices. Cookies are just one signal. Switching browsers, clearing cache, or using a VPN will not reset your free game. We do this only to enforce the free-play limit — we never use the fingerprint to track you across the web.
Because subscriptions trap people. Every purchase here is a one-time payment. When your time runs out, the service simply asks again. You decide every time.
No catch — that's the math. One Family Year gives up to 10 users 365 days of play. If your household has 3 kids and 2 parents, that's $14/person/year — cheaper than a single bag of crisps. The "catch" is you must trust your housemates not to share the password outside the home.
Yes, for the lifetime of RetroPlayland the company. We are profitable from day one without taking VC, so we plan to be here for decades. If the company shuts down, lifetime members receive a full refund on a pro-rata basis from a dedicated reserve fund (Polish escrow).
